Arugula

Astro Arugula

CA$3.50

Salad Arugula/Rocket

Less lobed than wild arugula and has a milder flavour. Good cool weather growth and great for making those early season salads.

Seeds Per Package

Approx. 500 Seeds

Growing Instructions

Prefers cooler weather, and is ideally planted in the early spring or later summer/early fall. Arugula can be planted directly in the soil in rows for cut salad or transplanted at 9" spacing to produce larger plants.

Latin Name

Eruca sativa

Days to Maturity

35-40 Days

Sylvetta (Wild Arugula)

Wild Arugula

Different from salad arugula. Sought after by chefs for its pungent flavor and deeply lobed leaves. My favorite salad includes Sylvetta, parmigiana cheese and balsamic vinegar.

Approx. 500 Seeds

Growing Instructions

Prefers cooler weather, and is ideally planted in the early spring or later summer/early fall. Arugula can be planted directly in the soil in rows for cut salad or transplanted at 9" spacing to produce larger plants.

Days to Maturity

30-45 Days

Most greens prefer cooler weather, and are ideally planted in the early spring or later summer/early fall. Arugula can be planted directly in the soil in rows for cut salad or transplanted at 9" spacing to produce larger plants. For transplanting, start seeds around 4 weeks prior. Packages have approximately 500 seeds each unless stated otherwise. Varieties in the mixed greens can be ordered separately - just ask.

Looking forward to hearing from you!
