Start your pepper seeds indoor around 6 to 8 weeks prior to last expected frost. Anticipate transplanting after the May long weekend to early June. Pepper plants produce better in warm environments. Consider planting them into black landscaping fabric or woven poly to increase the ground temperature. Adding row cover can also help keep your plants warm, especially during a cooler growing season. Packages have approximately 25 seeds unless otherwise stated.
