Cantaloupe

A very sweet melon with white flesh. Outer skin ripens to a golden orange when ripe. Produces softball sized fruit.

Seeds Per Package

Approx. 25 Seeds

Growing Instructions

Cantaloupe tends to be more sensitive to root damage and transplanting. Most can be direct seeded after the threat of frost has past or to give them a head start, seed them indoors 2 to 3 weeks before expected last frost and then transplant out as small seedlings. When direct seeding, place 2-3 seeds at 2' spacing and thin down to 1 plant per space by cutting the weakest.

Latin Name

Cucumis melo
